It's that time of year where the bucks' racks are on their way back. It's always fun to watch them throughout the summer as their antlers slowly inch along. I've been watching 4 bucks in my food plot for the last couple of weeks. Getting ready to plant some beans and possibly some corn. How's everyone's food plots coming along?

Whitetail Extreme I planted last fall is really EXTREME.. it is awesome.. Clover, Chicory, and evergreen forbes all 12-20" tall right now.  Planted another 1 acre field with it this spring and it is starting to take off as well.  Last plot of Beans will be going in the ground in about 2 weeks.  Been seeing a few small bucks in velvet, nothing that looks real promising yet.  Anyone seeing fawns yet?

Here is the Whitetail Extreme field I planted last fall.  I planted another 1 acre plot with this this spring, so hopefully it does just as well.

Been starting to see a lot more deer out in the food plots lately.  Seeing them almost every morning and evening in the 1 acre plot of extreme we planted earlier this spring.  Just got 2 acres of beans in the ground last week, so hopefully they will take to them also when they begin growing.  Getting pumped already.  Only about 3 months and a week left... Can't wait.

Saw some big bucks yesterday afternoon feeding in the lush bean field. Racks are almost to full potential and will be entering the last stage of growth soon. The month of august is when the antlers start getting hard and the velvet dries. So get ready fellas and gals its bout that time !

The bean fields have been loaded up, I have seen a few bucks that have really had their antlers darken up this week. As Bolton said, they are just about done. Time for long range scouting. 45 days til the NJ opener, but who's counting.

Here is a pic of a couple nice bucks a friend has in his backyard. He lives very close to a large city and these deer roam the outskirts. I am going to have to work on him to allow us to hunt his backyard. Those types of areas around large cities are good places to hunt as there is very little hunting pressure and the deer are around people and will tolerate scent and noise more than deer in the country. But with our Dead Down Wind products, we are usually covered........ Check them out......
