I was told that when videoing your hunts that you should not keep playing back your kill on your camcorder. Because it takes the quality out of the tape every time played.Transfer the kill to a dvd and then watch it from that. Is this true ?

I wouldn't recommend playing it over and over.  By doing so you risk breaking the film in the tape.  We never rewind anything in our camera's.  We have little battery operated rewinders.  A rewinder is inexpensive.  Also you never want to rewind a headcleaner in your camera, another reason for a rewinder.

When storing your tapes for periods of time.....they should be left in an upright position and rewound!  Just a little FYI!
